Job Opportunities: Camp Coordinator

Employer:	Islamic Social Services Association Inc.
Terms of Employment:	Summer Job, Full Time (300 hours total)
Salary:	$10/hr

Preferred Background:	Should have grade 12 education Currently attending, or in the process of enrolling into a recognized college Computer literate Experience in a multicultural children centre preferred
Credentials:	Updated First Aid & CPR (or willingness to complete the training course) Driver's License (access to a car) Legally entitled to work in Canada
Experience:	Experience working with children and organizing events is an asset
Languages:	Speak, write and read English (additional languages would be an asset)
Specific Skills:	Plan and carry out recreational activities Able to physically keep up with energetic youths Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Essential Skills:	Oral communication Working with others Problem solving Decision making Critical thinking Job task planning and organizing Ability to work under pressure
Some duties include (but are not limited to):	Working with children Organizing camping events (registration, itineraries, transportation, food, recreational and alternate programming) Record keeping is a must and should be used to develop a template that can be used for future camps
